Learning that I loved photography at a young age, I was privileged to develop my eye in film cameras. Fast forward to digital photography, I continue to develop, learn, grow and share my skills.
Growing up on a working farm, and running a small farm with my husband, my agricultural roots run deep. I love the rugged diversity and beauty of Saskatchewan, the people that I have met and feel I can now call friends. There is an unmatched medley of wildlife, livestock, clubs/events, and landscapes that provide inspiration throughout the year.
Many people say that photography is a passion...however it runs so
much deeper than that. I am compelled to photograph the world around me, simple as that. There truly are days where no matter how hard I try I cannot set the camera down. Our world is full of so many wonderful sites that need to be enjoyed and shared.
Forever trying to grow and learn, I am currently studying for my Certificate in Photography through the New York Institute of Photography. As I continue to gain knowledge I look forward to applying it to captures at the many shows I will be attending as well as to start a livestock portfolio and graphic design side of my business
